Management assistance & Human Resources

I grew up in the countryside (near Krems, Lower Austria) and preferred already as a 3-year-old to rather kiss a wild boar and to spend as much time as possible in an animal house in my childhood and youth than to waste my time with boring toys. My family is very animal loving and we also had dogs which I especially loved. No matter if my own or someone else’s I always built up a special relationship with every dog and since I had no siblings to share with I just shared everything with the dogs.

After finishing my school leaving exam I worked in the administrative area for many years - as a Management Assistant, as a Department Manager, in Human Resources as well as in Public Relations and Events – in Austria and abroad (England, USA, Malaysia).

In my last job where I worked 11 years as a Management Assistant at the Research Institute of Wildlife Ecology at the Wilhelminenberg in Vienna and finally felt the desire for change, the Wolf Science Center in Ernstbrunn offered me the unique opportunity to work in their Administration Team.

I took advantage of this opportunity and I am looking forward to my varied work at the WSC every day, where no day is like the other and where I can contribute my many years of experience and my organizational skills.

The wolves fascinated me from the first moment on and there are many dogs at the WSC who come and see me in my office for a treat and some pats.

As a nature- and animal-loving person I can indulge in one of my passions here and have the feeling that I finally arrived professionally. I'm happy to be part of a wonderful team at the WSC and look forward to more years together.
