10 years WSC in Ernstbrunn

On the 25th of April 2019, the Wolf Science Center (WSC) celebrated its 10th anniversary in the Castle Ernstbrunn and the new Visitor Center of the Wildpark. 

Scientific lectures, interviews with the founders of the WSC, and a live-presentation from our animal trainers with the wolf Amarok gave insight into our work at the research station. The rector of the Vetmeduni Vienna, Petra Winter, and the head of the WSC, Friederike Range, were pleased to welcome several guests of honour: e.g. Karl Wilfing, president of the Lower Austrian state parliament, Elmar Pichl, directorate-general of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, Heinrich XIV. Reuss, owner and head of the Wildpark Ernstbrunn, as well as Horst Gangl, mayor of Ernstbrunn.
